• the small electronic sensor, attached to your baby's foot via a 'sock' uses pulse oximetry to measure your baby's pulse and oxygen levels
• if the readings fall outside of the preset levels an alarm will alert you via the base station
• you can also download the Owlet app and get notifications and readings on your phone
• the baby monitor's sock electronic connects to the base station via bluetooth, however you will need WiFi to operate the app
