When used as a chair for adults (or teenagers) we recommend to:

  • Remove the seat plate and use the foot plate as seat plate, on groove 4.
  • Remove the lower metal bar.
  • Add adult cushion for comfort and style.

This is the way Peter Opsvik has intended the chair to be used for adults, since he invented Tripp Trapp in 1972.

However, for certain occasions a tray that fits on the chair with Stokke® Baby Set can be a valuable accessory. Turn your Tripp Trapp® into a stand-alone high chair with the Stokke® Tray.

Perfect for quick feedings or crowded tables, the Scandinavian designed Stokke® Tray’s clean lines compliment the Tripp Trapp® for a unique, stunning seat. Suitable for 6 months to 3 years.

*Please note that the Tray will need to be attached to the Baby Set. The Tray cannot be used without the Baby set on the Tripp Trapp chair itself.
